Montrose Collective

Montrose Collective was carefully designed to fit within the spirit of a beloved Houston neighborhood and to create a warm experience for the user. The district blurs the lines between residential and recreation opportunities by celebrating activation. Boutique office, retail, personal services, hospitality destinations and a public library are stitched together with a vibrant public realm and rich landscape. The project was designed to be socially and environmentally responsive, with emphasis placed on wellness and community.

Montrose Collective’s smaller building blends the civic library use with vibrant retail and restaurants. Tree-lined sidewalks and a parking garage with art and decorative materials visually connect the two spaces, as well as the district at large.
